 The
Washington Sailing Marina offers bicycle rentals all year long. The marina
is conveniently located along the Mount Vernon Bike Trail. A twelve mile
ride south will take you right up to the front doors at George
Washington's Mount Vernon home, while a six mile ride north across the
Memorial Bridge will put you at the foot of the Washington Monument. We
have two bicycle styles from which to choose: the All-Terrain and the Cruiser.
We start renting at 9:00 a.m., every day, with the last
bikes going out at 4:00 p.m. Our bicycle rentals are first-come,
first-served. All bikes must be returned by 5:00 p.m. (winter hours may
vary). Our day rate for the
bicycles applies to any rental period longer than four hours.
All-Terrains
All-terrain bicycles rent for $6.00 per hour or $22.00 per day. They
have fifteen speeds, hand-brakes and racing seats.

Boat Rentals
 Our boat rentals begin when the water temperature reaches a safe 60 degrees F. and run until mid-October, weather-permitting. See Old Town Alexandria from the water with a few friends or set your course towards Haines Point. You can do either in one of our flying scots. Sail leisurely around our lagoon on a breezy afternoon in one of our Aqua Fins . Our rental dock opens at 11:00 a.m. with the last boats going out at 4:00 p.m. All boats must be returned by 5:00 p.m. Boat rentals are by reservation only. On-the-water certification from a recognized sailing school is required. If no certification, a written test can be administered at the marina.

 Aqua Fin
The Aqua Fin is an ideal performance daysailer for use by both the less-experienced sailor and the seasoned skipper. The Aqua Fin can fit up to two adults comfortably and rents for $10 an hour. Minimum 1 hour.
